Hi
This is an interesting table that shows the latest figures of the the Search Market over the past year. One can see the progression of the number of searches made on the major websites over the past 12 months.
Overall the number of searches on the web increased by 41% compared to July last year. SEM is still a hot activity in the digital marketing world.

Hi
According to Chief Economist at Google, Hal Varian, himself, ads’ position would not influence that much your conversion rate. Concretely, where 11 ads are shown on a page result, the conversion rate varies by less than 5% across positions.
This is an astonishing news, especially because it is coming from Google itself… However it would be interesting to run some test ourselves…

Hi all,
I came across an article about the latest addition to Google search.
Try this:
Just search for something the way you normally would, such as [tulips]. On the results page, click on the “All colors” drop down in the blue bar and choose a color. For example, try restricting your results to [yellow tulips]. Want to see purple tulips instead? Simply click on the color filter again, select purple.
Have fun: http://images.google.co.uk/images?q=tulips&gbv=2&hl=en&imgcolor=pink

Very interesting, what do you think JBE No More?
Google said Wednesday that it will show ads to people based on their habits. This behavioral targeting is designed to make ads more “interesting” according to Google.
They are trialing it on YouTube and partner sites with the aim to branch it across their entire network.
