Hi,

At fisrt sight, this article written by Stephan Spencer surprised me a bit. It is a story of a website built in a way that it avoids most of all the basic SEO techniques. And despite of this, the website managed to rank on page 2 in Google. Obviously that sounds impressing but the website is about yogurt… Then I found an obvious reason why the website ranked in page 2; because the “yogurt search” is not competitive at all. You’ll find 15,800,000 results for yogurt on google.co.uk. If you google “IT Jobs” you ‘ll get 294,000,000 results. So I challenge the webmaster to do the same with an IT Recruitment website…
